Last 2 days, GT Hitachi had a major problem that cause 1st alarm before machine completely trip. HUHUHU.. They suspected instrument may cause the problem due tu unstable temperature reading in turbine exhaust that shows in control room. All engineers and i rushing to the site to attend the problem and swap suspected broken thermocouple to spare thermocouple.

The solution relieved the operation guy temporarily as the machine trip for next day. Aiyaaark..

Mechanical team removed the fuel nozzle and fine out the gasket not as spec required. Wrong installed gasket causing gas flow chocked and improper burning process . The temperature in exhaust should shows around 300 to 400 degree celcius and if the some thermocouple shows low reading automatically machine will trip. As fast as lightning they changed the gasket and everybody is happy that day. LALALALALA..

Lama juga aku kat bintulu ni. Menghambakan diri di site tanpa henti 24/7 dan hanya sehari MC sebab demam ari tu. Mungkin boleh masuk Discovery Channel 'Extreme Engineering' kerana 3 projek major overhaul dijalankan serentak. 4 gas turbine, 2 compressor, 2 steam turbine dan berpuluh2 lagi rotating equipment di overhaul oleh geng2 REMACO dan GE. 1 gas turbine telah beroperasi dengan jayannya tanpa sebarang masalah besar dan sekarang menjana wang yang banyak untuk PETRONAS. Hahaha...

Sekarang tinggal module 6 untuk commisioning dan hand over kepada PETRONAS. Kerja2 mekanikal sudah selesai tinggal kerja2 instrument untuk touch up, clear alarm, dan calibration. GTG 94030 Major Inspection baru 5 hari dan work progress agak memberansangkan walaupun kekurangan tenaga kerja pada hari pertama sehingga hari ketiga disebabkan separuh dari members standby untuk GT Hitachi commisioning. Kerja2 instrument di GTG agak banyak berbanding dengan GT Hitachi kerana GT Hitachi adalah mesin lama sebab ada punch tahun 1980 di bleed valve. Jadi, hanya bahagian2 yang penting sahaja diletakkan instrument.

Rasa lama sangat kat sini. Bila boleh balik ni... Huuuuuuuuuu..

Kesan Pemanasan Global

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera..

Hari ni kurang sihat. Mungkin juga disebabkan oleh cuaca yang tidak menentu. Sekejap panas terik, sekejap hujan lebat. Pemanasan global berkaitan dengan peningkatan suhu dunia. Suhu bumi telah meningkat dua darjah dan kadarnya berbeza mengikut benua dan kawasan tertentu. Kajian mendapati kawasan Artik lebih pantas menjadi panas berbanding kawasan lain. Perubahan iklim biasanya berlaku dalam tempoh 10,000 tahun tetapi kini perubahan iklim berubah dalam tempoh 100 tahun sahaja, jarak hanya 2 generasi sahaja.

Memang kalau demam sukar untuk nak menumpukan pada kerja, hidung yang tidak selesa menganggu sistem pernafasan. Sukar untuk menghirup oksigen apabila hingus telah bersarang dalam hidung. Sakit tekak menambah lagi derita. Huk Huk..

Pagi tadi melawat doc dan menerima bebelan berkenaan kurangnya minum air di site dan pemanasan global. Tapi gegendang telinga tak mampu menangkap bait-bait perkataan mungkin kerana seleseme dan sakit tekak. Beredar dari klinik selepas ubat, MC dan resit diambil dan terus ke kedai makan untuk sarapan. Nak makan ubat. Dah naik hotel sure lupa nak makan. Hehehe..

Antibiotik harap2 habis...

Doa2 kan supaya cepat sembuh dan lebih produktif. Peace V(^_*)

Buaya Darat

Hari ni genap 8 hari aku di oversea. Ahahaha... Mengharung liku-liku hidup dalam usaha mencari rezeki. Syukur aku dikurniakan kesihatan untuk terus berkhidmat dengan penuh dedikasi dan integriti.

Waktu kerja 7 pagi hingga 7 malam telah mengikis usia mudaku begitu sahaja dan telah menyebabkan aku terfikir kenapa selipar Croc ini begitu terkenal walaupun mahal.

Dulu pakai brand ASADI tapi menjadi kebiasaan barangan buatan Malaysia akan cepat 'wear and tear' jadi terpaksa dibeli berulang kali sekaligus membantu kerajaan merancakkan pertumbuhan ekonomi negara.

Aku mula men'google'kan Croc secara sambilan kerana jika aku ambil serius maka terganggu waktu tidur sekaligus besok pagi akan lambat kerja secara amnya.

tapi tahukah si anak? : mak tak sanggup tgk anak2 dia xcukup tdo.. bgn pg nk pegi keje/kelas, mata mcm xleh nk bukak. mak kesian tgk si anak blk keje/kelas, muke & satu bdn penat mcm lps merantau satu dunia..

Hurm... kalu mak aku tau ni mesti 3 hari 4 malam kena bebel. Tapi aku dh beli, kad dah swipe dan barang dah recieve. Semuanya berlaku dengan pantas. Petang aku sampai rumah lepas flight dari bintulu membe beli RC baru. Brand Cen 2 speed. Siap bakar2 plak depan aku. Panas beb... Balik tu survey2 kat net pikir2 2 3 kali sampai tak tido malam.

Akhirnye, besok pagi kitorang beramai2 ke kedai RC membeli kereta baru. Nego dengan apek mintak kurang kemain lama lagi. Huh, siap beli remote Sanwa 2.4G pun tak bagi diskaun. Kedekoooot.. Masa ni kad plastik aku ni menjadi begitu power sampai mesin kad apek tu rosak. Semangat apek tu gi cari mesin lain. Kalu tak kansel je la. Apek tu swipe kat kedai membe dia. Rushing2 balik untuk proceed engine break in sebab plan nak main malam tu jgak.

Lepas break in 3 tangki, main la dengan gentle tak bleh lenjan lagi. Takut engine rosak ye la dara lagi dorang cakap. Setting berjam2 sebab tak tau attitude kete ni lagi pastu test run la sampai minyak abis. Lap2 skit pastu simpan dalam kotak dan pulang dengan hati yang gumbira sebab ada kete baru. :P

Skang ni aku tgh pikir macamana nak sorok bende ni. Huhuhu... Skang ni simpanan kereta ku telah bertambah. Siap beli box kat Giant untuk menyorokkan kereta2 ni.

Sedih tul sebab besok dah kene outstation. Tak puas lagi main kete baru nih. HUHUHU... Tersadai lagi la dalam kotak. Tunggu aku balik yaaa...

What is swine flu?

The World Health organisation says swine influenza, or "swine flu" is a highly contagious acute respiratory disease typically found in pigs. It spreads through tiny particles in the air or by direct contact.

The virus tends to infect large numbers of a given pig population, killing between one and four per cent of those affected, the WHO says. Not every animal infected displays symptoms.

How do humans contract the virus?

Swine flu normally only infects pigs, but the virus can cross the species barrier and infect humans, the WHO says.

People can catch the virus through contact with infected pigs, though there have been limited instances of human-to-human transmission.

What are the symptoms of swine flu in humans?

Symptoms are similar to those of human strains of the seasonal influenza virus, including fever, cough sore throat and body aches.

But the symptoms can also include severe pneumonia that can result in death, the WHO says.

Where do outbreaks occur?

Swine flu is considered endemic in the United States, though outbreaks in pigs have also been reported elsewhere in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and in parts of eastern Asia.

How high is the risk of a pandemic?

If the virus establishes efficient human-to-human transmission, it can cause a pandemic, the WHO says.

Health officials say the swine flu might develop into a form easily spread among humans by combining with a human flu virus or mutate on its own into a transmissible form.

But Dr Laurence Gerlis, an expert on infectious diseases, told Al Jazeera it is too early to call the outbreak a pandemic.

"If you have got an epidemic that affects several countries in the world then it becomes a pandemic.

"But at the moment it is a problem in Mexico and people who have travelled to Mexico have carried it elsewhere. We have to assess it on an hour-by-hour basis."

Is it safe to eat pork products?

Properly handled and prepared pork products are safe to eat, according to the WHO. The swine flu virus is killed when cooked at temperatures of 160 F/70 C or higher.

Does a vaccine exist?

There are no vaccines to protect humans from the current swine flu virus.

The flu virus evolves quickly, meaning that vaccines are soon obsolete.

Health officials say there is no evidence to suggest that the vaccine prepared for seasonal flu will protect against swine flu.

Are there any other treatments?

The swine flu virus detected in Mexico and the United States appears to respond to treatment with oseltamivir (Tamiflu) and zanamivir (Relenza).

What can be done to stop the spread of the disease?

Most of the cases have been detected by chance through seasonal influenza surveillance.

But Dr Gerlis told Al Jazeera that "anyone travelling out of Mexico could be potentially carrying the virus and would have no symptoms at all."

Health officials say maintaining good hygiene, including regular hand-washing and staying a safe distance from those infected, may help in preventing the spread of the virus.
